Data Collection and Processing in the App To provide you with our core services and allow you to save your progress, Songaa requires user authentication and the collection of specific personal data. Account Data: When you create an account, we securely store information such as your [email address, username, and password] on our servers to authenticate you across devices. Application Documents: If you choose to use our application or evaluation features, we collect and store the documents you upload. This includes your Curriculum Vitae (CV), academic or professional certificates, and motivational letters. App Progress Data: Your progress (e.g., in the Visa Pathfinder or Checklist) is saved both locally on your device and securely synchronized to our servers. 3. External Links Our app contains links to external websites of third parties (e.g., Fintiba, Mawista, Consulate). As soon as you click on these links, you leave the app. We have no control over the data processing practices of these third-party providers. 4. Data Security and Retention We implement appropriate technical measures, including encryption, to secure your personal data and uploaded documents. Retention Policy: We retain your account information and uploaded documents only for as long as your account is active. If your account is inactive for a period of one (1) year, all your personal data, including CVs, certificates, and motivational letters, will be automatically and permanently deleted from our servers in accordance with GDPR data minimization principles. 5. Your Rights and Account Deletion You have the right to access, rectify, restrict processing of, or erase your personal data at any time. In-App Account Deletion: You can request the complete and immediate deletion of your account, app progress, and all uploaded documents directly within the Songaa app by navigating to [Settings > Delete Account].
